Affiliates of the Society of Critical Care Medicine are separate and
independent international entities. They share the SCCM mission of
securing the highest quality care for all critically ill patients,
facilitating the exchange of hands-on knowledge of team-based critical
care, and forming collaborative relationships with critical care groups
and organizations who embrace these principles. The
Society of Critical Care Medicine and its Affiliates:
- Exchange information, ideas and
knowledge
- Collaborate on projects and programs
- Promote programs, events or other
activities
- Develop and build leadership teams
- Build a closer interaction with
and among international leaders
- Enhance career opportunities in
clinical and academic practice
The SCCM Affiliates offer a greater
input to the body of scientific and academic knowledge and the practice
of critical care medicine.
